關於 TEDx 台北

TEDx OVERVIEW:

For more than two decades, TED has established itself as a conference with world-changing ideas and innovators. Every year TED brings together thinkers and doers from different disciplines to share ideas worth spreading.

In the spirit of ‘ideas worth sharing’, TED is launching a program that will enable individuals and organizations to create and host their own local TED- like events – and in doing so, releasing TED free to the world.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

TED 就是科技,娛樂,設計三個跨界領域的對話,過去的二十年,TED藉由每年ㄧ次的大會,把全世界各個領域的好手聚在一起,目的只有ㄧ個”分享好的ideas。”近年來 TED 已經演變成ㄧ個超越T. E. D.這三個領域的聚會,現在含蓋的範圍包括創新,文化,社會議題。TED提倡ㄧ個跨界的思考,ㄧ種我們稱之為”T型的思考模式”,就是想的既深且廣。TED代表的是對世界的好奇心,對不同事物的連結。

2008年 TED實驗開放授權(Open Licensing)的概念,發表了 TEDx 計畫,邀請全世界有心有能力,並且了解TED的人ㄧ起來經營這個品牌。目前全世界共有20幾個城市成立TEDx,亞洲包括台北,東京,首爾,上海,北京等。TEDx 台北獲得 TED 的認可成為亞洲的 model site。

So we’re building here a clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world’s inspired thinkers, and a community of curious souls for engaging ideas and one another.

TEDxTaipei is proceeded by The Big Question Conference. With the support of the C P Yen Foundation, The Big Question Conference was launched in November 2008 bringing together inspirational speakers like Ben Tsiang, Chu Ping, Robin Winkler and Pierre Loisel to challenge audiences to “ask questions and find your own way.”

The year of 2009 marks the first TEDxTaipei.

TEDx 台北是由四和願創意公司所策劃。我們的 mission是:散播好的ideas。我們相信好的創意來自於對自我生活態度的認同,對生活美學和知識的深耕。我們希望藉由TEDx 台北來記錄華人智慧的軌跡,用新媒體(new media)把這個知識庫建立起來。

TEDx 台北的前身是 BQ 對話日。由朝邦文教基金會所贊助的首屆 BQ 對話日於2008年11月舉辦；邀請到四位不同領域的講者。他們分別是 CNEX 紀錄片基金會創辦人蔣顯斌，野蠻心足環保協會創辦人文魯彬，有機生活提倡人劉力學，及肯夢 (AVEDA) 台灣負責人朱平。

BQ 對話日的主題是 “走自己的路,問對的問題”。我們邀請到的講者, 都在人生的道路上選擇了轉彎。在這個轉折的過程中, 他們心路的歷程是什麼？他們問自己的大問題是什麼？他們選擇的勇氣是什麼？

TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds. Since then its scope has become ever broader.

The annual conference now brings together the world’s most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes). TED Conference is held annually in Long Beach, California. Tickets are often sold out one year in advance.
Today, TED is a global community welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world, and hope to turn that understanding into a better future for us all.

美國TED(Technology, Entertainment, Design)是ㄧ個跨界的智庫是ㄧ個對話的平台,更是實現ideas的舞台。1984年由 Richard Wurman創立,2002年由 Business 2.0創辦人 Chris Anderson買下,從2006年起TED開始把過去20幾年的演講放到網路上去,提供全球觀眾收看。TED每年在美國加州舉行年會,近年來更到歐洲,非洲和印度。過去的講者包括比爾.蓋茲 (Bill Gates), 珍.古德 (Jane Goodall),知名設計師 Philippe Stark,Google創辦人等等。
