愛台灣 2010/12/27I have been living in Taipei since I was in university.
There are many unique points why Taipei is so attractive to me.
You can almost enjoy any life style within 1 hour.
Go to mountain/go to beach/have fun in the tea shop/shop around in high class shopping mall/clubbing at night/ and anything you can image.
First : convenience store everywhere
You can find convenience store almost every corner in the city. Also you can almost find everything you need for staying in Taipei.

Second : 24 Hr. restaurant (Hong Kong dim sum in Taipei)
When you arrive Taipei in the mid night, you are hungry. You will have another option for your hungry stomach except instant noodle.

Third : night market to shop around
In the night market, you can find all kinds of delicious and traditional Taiwan food. With USD$10, your stomach will be full of delicious Taiwan food. More than food, there are some night market, you can also buy clothes/shoes/so on….

4th : second tallest building in the world
Taipei 101 is the second tall building in the world. You can see whole Taipei city when you get to the top of the building and also have a nice cup of coffee.

5. 24 Hr. Karaoke place
If you like singing, you can find a KTV in Taipei. In the KTV, you can sing all night long. In the KTV, it also provides food/drink/buffet. You can kill a lot of time in there.
